Since 1989, Scientists in School (SiS) has been dedicated to helping Canadian students reach their full potential. A science, technology, environment, mathematics and engineering catalyst during the formative elementary school years, our mission is to: Ignite scientific curiosity in children so that they: - Question intelligently; - Learn through discovery; - Connect scientific knowledge to their world; - Consider a career in science.

Scientists in School's signature program is its hands-on classroom workshops, aligned with the curriculum for Kindergarten to Grade 8, and delivered by enthusiastic presenters with career experience in science, technology and engineering. Over half-a-million budding scientists participate in SiS classroom workshops each year.
